Started in 2021 by Xan Swart, a South African doctor and biostatistician fellow, after providing statistical support to a number of registrars completing their Master of Medicine research component. Statistical analysis suffers the vulnerability of being abused, misinterpreted, inferences incorrectly assumed and violations of methodological assumptions. It is important that research findings are guided to the correct conclusions and supported by sound methodology.
